There are a few things in life I can never resist – popping bubble wrap, adorable kittens, a nice bowl of asam laksa, and shopping.

SHOPPINGggg. Ahhh yes, the mere mention of the word itself is enough to put a big, goofy grin on my face and apologise silently to my bank account in anticipation. Well, if this shopaholic behavior sounds familiar, allow us to introduce you to the best thing since sliced bread – the customizable online shopping mall Jipaban!

There are 17 online shops currently registered with Jipaban Malaysia, many of which you can only purchase from Jipaban. On top of that, you’re not limited to shopping in Jipaban Malaysia only, because among all the 80-odd shops registered with Jipaban Singapore, 39 of them ship to Malaysia too!

With Jipaban, you’ll never look at online shopping the same way again. Here’s a few of the unique features that you can look forward to with Jipaban:

1. Build your own shopping mall
There are so many online shops out there and while it might be fun to lose yourself hopping from one shop to another occasionally, wouldn’t it be great if you could see all of your favourite shops together, and categorise them? With Jipaban, you can build your own virtual shopping mall containing up to 4 levels, and arrange any shops you want on each of the levels! Take that, real-life shopping malls. Pfft. Maybe you could have online shops selling pretty dresses on Floor 1, accessories on Floor 2, and online shops for all other cute stuff on Floor 3 – it’s totally up to you!

2. Convenient payment methods
Payment really is one of the more painful aspects of online shopping, isn’t it? Emailing an online shop with tedious details on what you want and ask about accepted payment methods, wash, rinse and repeat for the next 15 items you want… I’m getting a seizure just thinking about it. Ever wish you could just check out the new collections on your favourite shops, put them all in one shopping cart and pay for them all in one go? Now you can with Jipaban! After you’ve hunted down the perfect dresses, simply select the delivery method for each of them…

… select your preferred payment method, and fill in a few details…

 

… and you’re good to go! Now all you have to do is sit back and wait for your parcels to arrive. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, credit card or PayPal, so it couldn’t be any easier :)

3. Egg it, smash it, wish for it
This is one of our favourite features of Jipaban :D You know how sometimes when you’re shopping, you ask your shopping buddies whether you should buy this dress that you just found? It’s harder to do that with online shopping unless your friend is sitting next to you all the time, but now you can do that with Jipaban’s Egg it or Smash it feature!

With this feature, when you find a dress that you’re not sure about, you can add it to your Egg-on list and let your friends vote to either “Egg-on” or “Smash” it! Alternatively, if you just want to share with your friends which dress you’ve fallen in love with lately, you can also add an item to your wish list (it could also come in useful as a hint for potential Christmas presents :P). If you choose to link your Facebook/Twitter accounts with Jipaban, it’ll even show up on your news feed!
